The villages
The Emporda is full of charming villages, winding streets with stone housesan lage farm houses showing the interesting architecture of the area, The villages are mostly agricultural , with ome houses recently restored. It is undiscovered by tourim and has an exuberant nature.
Two kilometres away from Can Sort there are some samall villages: there is Vilaür walled village with a nice square, romanisque church and several impressive "Masias", also Calabuig , it's up on a hill and has fantastic views, both of them with aprox. 70 inhabitants.
Four Km away , Bàscara and Camallera , where you can find shops , bar, train station and bus.
