Practical information

By plane, you can arrive to Gerona airport or Barcelona airport .

Ryanair has very cheap flights from Gerona to all Europe . Gerona is only 35 km far

from Can Sort . Barcelona airport is 125 Km far from Can Sort .There is also a regular train line or bus from Barcelona .

Arrival and departure transfers to bus or train stations are included .It's also posible to rent a transport from Barcelona airport .

The riding classes and excursions are usually in the morning , adjusting the schedule according to time of year and climate .

You can also relax in the house and swiming pool or if you prefer we can help you to organize visits to very interesting sites , a few Km. from Can Sort .

We advice to rent a car . If not , we can transfer to Camallera train station , from there you can go by train :

to Figueras (15 min) , to Gerona 25 min, and to Barcelona 40 min with TGV .

The house is isolated in the midle of the countryside , we have one small village at 1 km , and two villages with shops, restaurants, bus and train station at 4 Km.

We provide breakfast and dinner everyday , the food is homemade and includes wine .

For lunch there are restaurants with affordable menu less than 2 Km away from the house. There is also a small kitchen and refrigerator in the house avalaible for customers. .

We have several golf courses around about 10 or 20 Km. and several beaches nearby. Horse riding is many times a individual activity , the price is based on double occupancy , a supplement for single room is requested ,

Beginners and children over 8 years are admitted to ride .

Younger than 8 years can have their own activity with the ponies . We have familiar rooms (3 or 4 people ) .

The maximum weight per rider is 95 kg. The riders have to wear helmets, better bring yours, if you do not , we will provide one.

We are open all year but in july and august for heat reasons , we only will do the programme 1.

Winter months are usually very sunny , not very cold , and very pleasant for riding.

Payment, booking and cancellation .
Once availability is confirmed, the customer must make a deposit of 100 Euros booking per participant, the account number will be provided. The rest will be paid on the day of arrival at the Equestrian Center, cash or VISA card.
The customer is entitled to a refund of all the amounts paid only if you cancel your reservation 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. Will be charged to the customer's bank transfer charges arising.
Can Sort reserves the right to cancel with full refund, in case of unforeseen, or not achieving the minimum number of participants in the activity in the program 2 Beach trail .
