​The Empordà is full of charming villages, winding streets with stone houses and large farmhouses showing the interesting architecture of the area. The villages are mostly agricultural, with some houses recently restored.
It is  undiscovered by tourism, and has an exuberant nature.
Two kilometres  away from Can Sort there are ,  some small villages : there is Vilaür , walled  village with a nice  square, romanisque church  and several impressive "Masias ",  also  Calabuig  it's up on a hill and has  fantastic views , both of theme with aprox .  70 inhabitants.

Four Km  away  ,  Bàscara and Camallera , where  you can find shops , bar, train station and bus.
